"What can I say? We are pleased that there will be 12 teams in the championship next season." Afran Ismayilov said this in his statement to Sport24.az.
The former football player of our national team, commenting on the decision to abolish the legionnaire limit in the Misli Premier League from the 2025/2026 season, did not welcome the decision unequivocally:
"They have set a money limit. Those who have money will bring a legionnaire anyway, those who don't won't. What can I say, I hope it will be good for Azerbaijani football."
It should be noted that a decision was made at yesterday's meeting of the Executive Committee to abolish the legionnaire limit in the Premier League from the next season.
