The winners of the AFFA Higher Women's League 2025/2026 season have been awarded.
Idman.Biz reports that "Neftchi" finished the season as champion with 66 points, "Sumgayit" with 52 points in second place, and "Liman" with 49 points in third place.
The award ceremony was held at the "Neftchi" Football Center.
"Liman", which took 3rd place in the championship, was awarded bronze medals, and "Sumgayit", the owner of the 2nd place, was awarded silver medals. The champion "Neftchi" was presented with gold medals and a cup.
The winners in individual nominations have also been announced. Nurçin Tarverdizade, a football player of "Liman", who scored 75 goals, became the owner of the award given to the most productive player. Khanim Asadova, a member of "Neftchi", was chosen as the best player of the season.
The awards were presented by Orkhan Hasanov, advisor to the Secretary General of AFFA, and Zumrud Agayeva, head of the Women's Football Department.
