Adrian Skarlatake: "Qarabag" did not deserve to lose"
"It turned out to be a very good game, as I expected. In my statement to the Romanian press, I said that the match would end in a 2:2 or 3:3 draw. My prediction came close to being true."
This was stated to Sport24.az by Adrian Skarlatake, the former football player of "Khazar Lankaran".
The 38-year-old Romanian former player shared his thoughts on the "Qarabag" - FCSB match held in Baku yesterday.
"Qarabag" played better than its opponent and did not deserve to lose at all. FCSB was just lucky. The team can always create danger in corner kicks, and this time they scored goals. A fair result would have been a draw or a victory for "Qarabag". But this is football. FCSB was the smarter side."
It should be noted that the meeting ended with a 3:2 victory for the Romanian club.
