German football club Eintracht has appointed Adi Hütter as head coach.
Idman.Biz reports that the 56-year-old Austrian specialist has replaced Albert Riera in the Frankfurt team. Hütter will begin his new duties on July 1, 2026. His contract is valid until June 30, 2029.
This will be Hütter's second stint at Eintracht. He previously coached the Frankfurt club from 2018-2021. During the Austrian coach's first stint, the team advanced to the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League, and in the 2020/21 season, they once again qualified for European competitions.
Eintracht's sporting director Markus Krösche associated Hütter with courageous attacking football, clarity, and discipline. The club official stated that they believe the Austrian specialist can further develop the team.
Hütter's assistants have also been determined. Kristian Peintinger and Klaus Schmidt will be part of the coaching staff. Jan Zimmermann will continue his work as a goalkeeping coach.
It should be noted that after leaving Eintracht, Hütter worked for the German football club Borussia Mönchengladbach, and later managed the French football club Monaco.
