The Azerbaijani women's national chess team will face Georgia today in the 1/4 finals of the World Championship held in Linares, Spain. Sport24.az reports that two meetings will take place between the teams.
If the winner is not determined in the end, the team that advances to the semi-finals will be determined in a tie-break tomorrow.
It should be noted that Ulviyya Fatullayeva, Govhar Beydullayeva, Khanim Balajayeva, Gulnar Mammadova and Ayan Allahverdiyeva are in the squad. The team captain is Ilaha Gadimova.
The World Championship will end on November 23.
