World Blitz Championship 2025: Semifinal Pairings Determined

The final group stage matches of the 2025 World Blitz Championship were held today in Doha, Qatar.

Idman.Biz reports that matches were held in both the men's and women's categories on the competition day.

In the women's semifinals, Bibisara Assaubayeva (Kazakhstan) will face Zhu Jiner (China), and Elin Rubers (Netherlands) will face Anna Muzychuk (Ukraine).

In the men's competition, Arjun Erigaisi (India) and Nodirbek Abdusattorov (Uzbekistan), as well as Fabiano Caruana (USA) and Magnus Carlsen (Norway), will compete.
