Medalists of the "Baku Open-2025" International Chess Festival were awarded.
"Report" informs that the winners were awarded medals, cups, cash prizes and certificates.
Awards to participants in various age categories were presented by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union, and other officials.
It should be reminded that the prize fund of the festival was 55 thousand US dollars. More than 700 chess players from 16 countries competed in the competition. The tournament also hosted the Azerbaijan Championship among veteran chess players.
