The European Club Chess Cup continues on the Greek island of Rhodes.
According to Idman.Biz, in the sixth round, the Azerbaijani team "Vugar Hashimov" (Rauf Mammadov, Aydin Suleymanli, Ahmad Ahmadzade, Read Samadov, Vugar Manafov, Khazar Babazade and Nogerbek Kazibek from Kazakhstan) defeated the German team "Werder Bremen" with a score of 4.5-1.5.
With this victory, the club is in sixth place in the tournament table with 10 points. Turkish teams "Beyegan Pendik" and "Turkish Airlines", where Shahriyar Mammadyarov and Khagan Ahmad play, are in eighth and ninth places with 9 points each, respectively.
The Serbian team "Sirmium Sremska Mitrovica", where Govhar Beydullayeva plays, is second with 10 points, and the Romanian team "Superchess", where Ulviyya Fataliyeva plays, is sixth with 7 points.
The tournament is held in seven rounds according to the Swiss system and will end on October 25.
