Three-year-old Sarvagya Singh Kushwaha from Madhya Pradesh, India, has been registered as the youngest member of the International Chess Federation (FIDE).
Idman.Biz reports that he was officially accepted into FIDE membership at the age of 3 years, 7 months, and 20 days.
Thus, Sarvagya broke the record of his compatriot Anish Sarkar. A. Sarkar became a FIDE member at the age of 3 years, 8 months, and 19 days.
S. Kushwaha has also distinguished himself with successful performances in a number of chess tournaments in his country and currently has a rating of 1572.
