Azerbaijani chess player Rauf Mammadov will participate in the World Team Rapid and Blitz Championships.
Idman.biz reports that our representative will be in the "Freedom" team at the competition to be held in London, the capital of Great Britain.
Vishvanathan Anand (India), Le Quang Liem (China), Emil Sutovsky (Israel), Anna Muzychuk (Ukraine), Samuel Sevian (USA), Alexey Sarana (Russia), Haik Martirosyan (Armenia), Sarbarto Mani (India) and Teodora Injac (Serbia) are in the same team with our grandmaster. They will compete for medals in both rapid and blitz.
It should be noted that the championship will be held from June 10 to 16.
