The next rapid tournament was held under the organization of the Children and Youth Commission of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation.
Idman.biz reports that the competition, which was attended by 45 chess players, aimed to prepare young chess players for international tournaments.
According to the results of the 7-round competition, Khagan Ahmad, who scored 6 points, won the tournament. Allahverdi Hamidov and Murad Ibrahimli (5.5 points each) shared 2nd-3rd places respectively.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Chess Federation plans to organize such tournaments regularly.
