The prize fund of the "Ganja Open 2025" International Chess Festival has been announced.
The Azerbaijan Chess Federation informed "Report" about this.
The festival will take place in Ganja, the second largest city in the country. The festival, with a prize fund of 41,200 manats, will be held in groups A and B. The organization of rapid and blitz tournaments is also planned within the framework of the festival.
Chess players with a rating of 2000 and higher can participate in group A, and chess players with a rating of up to 1999 can participate in group B. No rating restrictions apply to rapid and blitz.
It should be noted that "Ganja Open 2025" is the 7th open competition in the "Azerbaijan Chess Tour" project. The festival will have the largest prize fund after "Baku Open".
