The Azerbaijani women's national chess team will participate in the World Team Championship, which will be held in Linares, Spain, from November 17-24.

The Azerbaijani national team, which has a high rating, has been invited to the prestigious competition due to the inability of the Algerian team to participate in the competition.
Azerbaijan is in Group A. Our chess players will compete in the same group with the FIDE, USA, Kazakhstan, Spain and Peru teams. China, Georgia, Ukraine, France, Uzbekistan and India teams will compete in Group B.
Ulviyya Fataliyeva, Govhar Beydullayeva, Khanim Balajayeva, Gulnar Mammadova and Ayan Allahverdiyeva will compete in the Azerbaijani team. The team captain will be Ilaha Gadimova.
