Our chess players successfully started the "Grenke Chess" festival in Germany

The "Grenke Chess" festival has started in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijani chess player Shahriyar Mammadyarov played his first game in the festival's "Freestyle Chess Open" tournament.

Mammadyarov defeated local athlete Sebastian Laemmel.

Mahammad Muradli, who is competing in the "Grenke Chess Open", checkmated local athlete Gergel Mann. Eltaj Safarli was stronger than Gabriel Fernandes (Switzerland).
