FIDE continues to remain silent about the city that will host the Chess World Cup.
Idman.biz reports that only the dates of the competition have been determined.
The venue for the tournament, which will be held from October 31 to November 27, has not been officially announced.
India is likely to host the World Cup, where three places in the Candidates Tournament will be contested. But there is no official confirmation of this information yet.
It should be noted that four Azerbaijani chess players Rauf Mammadov, Riad Samadov and Ahmad Ahmadzade won tickets to the World Cup from the European Championship. Nijat Abasov will participate in this tournament as a semi-finalist of the last world championship.
