Our chess player won and rose to the top three

The "Tata Steel Chess" tournament continues in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands. Sport24.az reports that in the 8th round of the "Challengers" competition, Azerbaijani chess player Aydın Suleymanli won over Francisco Oro (Argentina).

 

Our grandmaster, who defeated his third opponent, raised his score to 5 and settled in the top three. He is one point behind the leader Thai Nguyen (Czech Republic).

 

It should be noted that chess players who are resting today will play the IX round tomorrow. Suleymanli will face Kazakh Kazibek Nogerbek.
