The 31st "Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival" chess tournament has ended in the UAE.
Idman.biz reports that Shiroglan Talibov showed the best result among the Azerbaijani representatives competing in the "Masters" competition.
He took 41st place with 5.5 points after 9 rounds.
Besides him, only Vugar Manafov was in the top 100 - he took 85th place with 4.5 points.
Of our other representatives, Suleyman Suleymanli took 120th place with 4 points, Gulnar Mammadova took 171st place with 3 points, and Farid Orujov took 190th place with 1.5 points.
Belarusian Denis Lazavik became the winner of the competition with 7 points.
