A rapid tournament was held by the Youth-Children's Commission of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation.
Idman.biz reports that the competition, which involved 43 chess players, aimed to prepare young chess players for international tournaments.
Based on the results of the 7-round competition, Murad Ibrahimli, who scored 6 points, won the tournament. Vugar Manafov (5.5 points) and Muhammad Bagirov (5 points) took 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Chess Federation plans to regularly organize such tournaments.
