Master classes were organized at the Azerbaijan Chess Federation for the winners and prize-winners of the national championship among teenagers.
According to the information provided to "Report" from the organization, the winners and prize-winners of the Azerbaijani championship among 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 year olds participated in the event.
Speaking at the event, the President of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, Mahir Mammadov, said that the organization attaches great importance to the development of young chess players and various projects are being implemented in this direction.
In the first master class, national team member Aydin Suleymanli shared his experience with teenagers. Talking about his career, the national team chess player spoke to the children about the secrets of forgetting the excitement before the competition and focusing on the opponent. A. Suleymanli, who said that discipline is important in chess, emphasized the importance of proper rest during intense training. At the end of the event, Aydin Suleymanli analyzed several games and answered the children's questions.
It should be noted that Aydin Suleymanli is a world (in the 14 age group) and two-time European champion (under 8 and under 12) among teenagers, as well as the winner of the World Chess Olympiad for chess players under 16. The national team member won the gold medal of the Azerbaijan Championship in 2024.
