The rating favorite of the "Quba Open" international chess festival has been announced.
Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijani chess player Mahammad Muradli will lead the list in the tournament, which will start on July 16.
Evgeni Romanov (North Macedonia), Vladimir Bernadsky (Ukraine), Mikhail Kekelidze (Georgia), as well as Khagan Ahmad, the winner of the "Lankaran Open" last weekend, will also compete in the festival, which will feature 42 chess players.
The competition will consist of 9 rounds according to the Swiss system.
