The next rapid tournament was held by the Children and Youth Commission of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation. Sport24.az reports that the competition, attended by 45 chess players, aimed to prepare young chess players for international tournaments.
Based on the results of the 7-round competition, Khagan Ahmad, who scored 6 points, won the tournament. Allahverdi Hamidov and Murad Ibrahimli (5.5 points each) shared 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Chess Federation regularly plans to organize such tournaments.
