The winner of the Chess World Cup held in Goa, India, has been determined. Sport24.az reports that Javohir Sindarov, representing Uzbekistan, took first place.

 

He emerged victorious from the tie-break duel against his Chinese opponent, Wei Yi, in the final match.

 

It should be noted that Sindarov, Wei Yi, and Russian Andrey Esipenko, who finished the competition in third place, have qualified for the Candidates Tournament to be held in 2026.
