Ilahe Gadimova has been included in the list of referees who will officiate the most prestigious competitions of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) in 2026-2027.

The list of the highest-ranked referees announced by the organization includes 24 representatives of justice from around the world. 13 of them represent European countries.
It should be noted that Ilahe Gadimova, the Secretary-General of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF), is a two-time world champion among juniors and a gold medalist of the European Championship among 20-year-old chess players. She has continued her refereeing activities by working in a number of prestigious competitions this year as well.
One of the most famous chess referees in the world is Faig Hasanov, the vice-president of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation. F. Hasanov, who has been a representative of justice in competitions for more than 60 years, has been included in the "Guinness Book of Records" as the longest-serving chess referee with this indicator.
