Hasanov said that there have been changes in the team in recent years. Young, talented chess players have been involved in the team:
"Chess players played well from the first day of the European Championship. Before the last round, we defeated the Ukrainian team. But even if we had won the last round, we still wouldn't have been able to become champions. Because the Ukrainian team was superior to us in terms of indicators. We had to win with a score of 4:0 to become champions. Such a score rarely happens.
