The second round of matches of the European Team Chess Championship took place in Batumi (Georgia). Sport24.az reports that the Azerbaijani men's national team, featuring Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Rauf Mammadov, Aydin Suleymanli and Muhammad Muradli, drew with the Czech Republic in the reporting round - 2:2.
Mammadyarov won, Mammadov lost, while Suleymanli and Muradli agreed to a draw.
The Azerbaijani women's team defeated Hungary 2.5:1.5 in the second round. Ulviyya Fataliyeva and Ayan Allahverdiyeva finished the game with a victory. Govhar Beydullayeva drew, and Khanim Balajayeva lost.
It should be noted that the European Championship will end on October 14.
