The "International Whitsun" tournament held in Munich, Germany, has concluded.
Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijani chess player Eltaj Safarli took second place in the competition.
In the IX round, he scored 7.5 points and defeated Kirill Alekseenko (Austria). Although Eltaj caught up with the leader Elham Amar, he lost to the Norwegian in additional indicators.
It should be noted that a total of 152 chess players participated in the tournament.
