Eltaj Safarli leads the list of participants in the "Sheki Open" tournament

After the "Baku Open" festival, which ended the previous day, the "Chess Tour Azerbaijan" will head to Sheki.

Idman.biz reports that the second tournament of the series, organized by the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, will be held in this city from June 18-25.

34 participants from 7 countries have applied for the A tournament. Among them are Vitali Bernadski (Ukraine), Vashini Sahiti (India), Umida Omonova (Uzbekistan) and others.

The rating favorite of the "Sheki Open" is Azerbaijani grandmaster Eltaj Safarli.
