The "International Whitsun" chess tournament continues in Munich, Germany.

Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijani chess player Eltaj Safarli started the competition with two victories.

He defeated his German opponents and joined the leading group.

It should be noted that 157 intellectuals, including 20 grandmasters, are competing in the tournament, which will last for 9 rounds according to the Swiss system.
