The closing ceremony of the "Battle of Champions" tournament was held in Baku.
According to "Report", representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as well as officials of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF), as well as officials of the International Chess Federation and other guests participated in the ceremony.
First, a video about the competition was presented. Then the competition participants signed the chessboard.
Then the president of ACF Mahir Mammadov spoke and congratulated the winners.
Finally, the winner of the tournament, Rauf Mammadov, as well as Gunay Mammadzada, were presented with gifts. In addition, our chess players' opponents Rustam Kasimdzhanov and Antoenetta Stefanova were also given souvenirs.
A souvenir was also presented to the management of the Carpet Museum.
The awards were presented by ACF President M.Mammadov and the head of the sports department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Elnur Mammadov.
It should be noted that the winners of the tournament were determined according to the overall results of the games in both rapid and blitz types.
