A chess tournament will be held in Ganja to support the III CIS Games.
"Report" reports that the press service of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF) has released information about this.
The tournament will be jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ganja City Executive Power, and the ACF to support the III CIS Games, which will be hosted by our country.
Chess stars of Nizami's land will participate in a friendly match and a simultaneous exhibition at the competition, which will be held in Heydar Aliyev Park in Ganja. Ulviyya Fataliyeva, the first Azerbaijani winner of the individual European Championship, Ilaha Gadimova, world and European champion among juniors, Gadir Huseynov, a three-time European champion as a member of the Azerbaijani national team, and Vugar Rasulov, Azerbaijani champion (2012), will perform in the friendly match called "Chess Stars of Ganja".
In the friendly match called "Chess Stars of Ganja", chess players will compete in duets. Each team will be represented by two people. After the friendly match, the chess stars will hold a simultaneous exhibition for talented teenagers and young people of Ganja.
