The opponents of Shahriyar Mammadyarov and Teymur Rajabov in the 1/4 final stage of the Azerbaijan Chess Championship have been determined. According to Sport24.az, this became known after the tie-break matches in the 1/8 finals.
In the next round, Mammadyarov will face Muhammad Muradli, and Rajabov will face Vugar Asadli.
In addition, Misratdin Iskandarov, Ahmad Ahmadzade, Gunay Mammadzade and Turkan Mammadyarova also qualified for the 1/4 finals.
It should be noted that the prize fund in the men's competition is 60 thousand manats, and in the women's competition - 30 thousand manats.
