The games of the VIII round of the "Baku Open" chess festival were held today.

He defeated our other representative, Nijat Abasov. Nijat Abasov shared points with Aydin Suleymanli. The same result was recorded in the Read Samadov - Ahmad Ahmadzade meeting.
Khazar Babazada, who finished the round with a victory, rose to 3rd place.
The tournament is headed by European champion Aleksandar Indjic. Georgian Baadur Jobava is in second place.
