The Azerbaijani women's national chess team has started its next training camp in Naftalan. Sport24.az reports that the information was provided by the Chess Federation.
It was reported that the main goal is to prepare for the European Team Championship. For a week, the Azerbaijani team will participate in training sessions under the leadership of Nijat Abasov, a semi-finalist of the World Cup, and Gadir Huseynov, a three-time European champion.
It should be noted that Ulviyya Fataliyeva, Govhar Beydullayeva, Gulnar Mammadova, Khanim Balajayeva and Ayan Allahverdiyeva were invited to the Azerbaijani women's national chess team. Ilaha Gadimova has been approved as the captain.
The European Team Championship will be held in Batumi, Georgia, on October 4-15.
