FIDE has released a new rating table for chess players.
Idman.biz reports that 7 Azerbaijani chess players are included in the "Top-100" for September.
Shahriyar Mamedyarov still has the best performance among our chess players. Our grandmaster, who slipped 5 places, is in 16th place with 2741 points.
Teymur Rajabov (2692), who let one opponent ahead of him, dropped to 38th place. Rauf Mammadov (2651) also slipped 5 places – 70th place. Eltaj Safarli (2630) changed "100" to "99".
Norwegian Magnus Carlsen leads the table with 2839 points.
Our best representative in the women's table is Gunay Mammadzade. The chess player with 2390 rating points rose 1 place to 51st place.
Ulviyya Fataliyeva (2385) rose 13 places, Govhar Beydullayeva (2368) rose 2 places. They are in 58th and 72nd places, respectively.
Chinese Yifan Hou leads the women's rating table – 2609 points.
