The International Chess Festival has started in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.
Idman.biz reports that Aydın Suleymanli and Muhammad Muradli represent Azerbaijan in the main section of the festival, which is attended by 71 countries.
Read Samadov, Khagan Ahmad, Shiroglan Talibov, Suleyman Suleymanli, and Ravan Uguzov are competing in the "Masters" section of the tournament. Lala Huseynova, Muhammad Bagirov, Emil Mehraliyev, and Yashar Shirinov are performing in the "Open" competition.
It should be noted that the festival, with a total prize fund of 125 thousand US dollars, will end on September 1.
