Our chess player Azer Mirzoyev has joined the tournament held in the Bahamas. Sport24.az reports that the "Orjan Lindroth Memorial" tournament, in which our grandmaster also participates, has started.
He won the first round match against Jamaican representative Darren McKennish.
It should be noted that 25 chess players from 14 countries are competing in the tournament, which is held according to the Swiss system and will consist of nine rounds.
