Azer Mirzoev's Successful Start at the Bahamas Tournament

Azerbaijani chess player Azer Mirzoev has started his performance in the Bahamas.

Idman.biz reports that the "Orjan Lindroth Memorial" tournament, in which our grandmaster participates in Nassau, has started.

He won his first round game against Jamaican representative Darren McKennish.

25 chess players from 14 countries are competing in the tournament, which is held according to the Swiss system and will consist of nine rounds.
