Our chess player, Aydın Suleymanli, will participate in the "Tata Steel Chess" international chess tournament in Vijk aan Zee, Netherlands. Sport24.az reports that our representative will compete in the "Challengers" competition of the tournament.
He will face Vaishali Rameshbabu, Divya Deshmukh (both from India), Nodirbek Yakubboev (Uzbekistan), Benjamin Bok, Erwin L'Ami, Arthur Pijpers (all from the Netherlands), Dominik Swajn (Germany), Thai Nguyen (Vietnam), Ediz Gurel (Turkey), Kazıbek Nogerbek (Kazakhstan), Faustino Oro (Argentina), Liu Miaoyu (China) and Irina Bulmaga (Romania).
In the first round, Suleymanli's opponent will be local chess player Benjamin Bok.
