Azerbaijani chess player Aydın Suleymanli aims to be among the winners at the 11th Vugar Hashimov Memorial to be held in Khankendi.
Idman.Biz reports that he stated this in a statement to the press service of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation.
A. Suleymanli said that the tournament will be held in a tense and interesting competitive environment:
"Strong chess players will compete in the tournament. The fact that there are six participants suggests that the competition will be even more interesting. My goal is to perform better and be among the winners in Khankendi."
It should be noted that the tournament dedicated to the memory of Vugar Hashimov will start in Khankendi on December 9.
