American Grandmaster and renowned chess commentator Daniel Naroditsky has passed away at the age of 29.
İdman.biz reports that the Charlotte Chess Center, where he worked as a coach, announced the news.
"It is with great sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of Daniel Naroditsky.
Daniel was a gifted chess player, commentator, and teacher, a beloved member of the chess community, an individual with fans around the world, and someone who earned the respect and admiration of players. He was also a beloved son and brother, and a loyal friend to many.
We ask that you respect the privacy of Daniel's family during this incredibly difficult time. Let us remember Daniel for his passion and love of chess, as well as the joy and inspiration he brought to us every day," the club said in a statement shared on its official social media account.
