2025 Chess World Cup to be held in Goa, India

The venue and time of the 2025 Chess World Cup have been announced. Sport24.az reports that the competition will be held from October 20 to November 27 in Goa, India.

 

The tournament's prize fund will be 2 million US dollars. 206 chess players from the planet will compete for the top spots. Our country will be represented at the World Cup by Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Nijat Abasov, Rauf Mammadov, Read Samadov, and Ahmad Ahmadzade.
