The 10th World Fudokan Karate Championship has started in Puławy, Poland.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani team had a successful performance on the first day.
Three of our karate fighters managed to win medals. Among adults, Haji Ali Valizadeh (80 kg) and Vusal Seyidov (60 kg), competing among athletes under 21, took the highest step of the podium. In the veterans' competition, Siyavush Bayramov (75 kg) was satisfied with bronze.
It should be noted that the World Fudokan Karate Championship is held every 4 years, and this year's tournament will end on May 11.
