Another seminar for boxing referees of Azerbaijan has been held.
Idman.biz reports that the trainings organized by the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation (ABF) took place in Gabala.
The seminar held at the Heydar Aliyev Center was attended by the Secretary General of ABF, Nagi Safarov, and the head of the Shaki-Zagatala Regional Youth and Sports Department, Fakhri Soltanov.
Opening the event with an introductory speech, Nagi Safarov said that one of the main directions of the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation is the training of referees, increasing the number of stars and successfully representing our country in the international arena. According to him, various trainings are held every year in this regard, and necessary steps are taken to involve young people in refereeing.
Then, the chairman of the ABF Referees Committee, Emil Gurbanaliyev, provided information about the agenda of the seminar.
Professor, international referee Galib Abiyev explained the new rules to be applied and gave the necessary recommendations.
At the end, the referees' questions were answered.
