Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira stated that Rafael Fiziev was the only fighter who agreed to fight him at the tournament in Brazil.
İdman.biz reports that the Oliveira-Fiziev fight will take place on October 11 in Rio de Janeiro and will be the main event of the UFC tournament.
Oliveira noted that all other leading rivals refused:
"Topuria just defeated me and is currently number one in the ranking. Arman is waiting for a title fight. Gaethje said he would only fight for the belt. Holloway's hand is broken. Poirier has finished his career. Hooker talks a lot, but refused when called. As a result, only Fiziev agreed."
Fiziev has 13 wins and 4 losses, while Oliveira has 35 wins, 11 losses and 1 no contest.
