The Azerbaijani national team of junior boxers participated in the "Belt and Road" international tournament as part of a training camp in China.
İdman.biz reports that our team finished the competition held in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region with the participation of 19 countries with 4 medals.
Hagverdi Hasanov (63 kg) became the winner of the tournament among our boxers. He defeated his Kazakh opponent in the final. Saftar Mammadzadeh (+80 kg) won silver, Raul Heydarli (57 kg) and Adil Zalov (70 kg) won bronze medals.
It should be noted that our team continues its preparations for the CIS Games in China. Our national team will return to Baku on September 1.
