UFC Hall of Famer and former champion Daniel Cormier says he doubts Charles Oliveira's quick return to the octagon.
Idman.biz reports that the Brazilian will fight Azerbaijani fighter Rafael Fiziev on October 11 in Rio de Janeiro, just three months after losing by knockout to Ilia Topuria in a title fight.
Cormier highlighted this point, saying that Oliveira will fight again just 3 months after the knockout: "In my opinion, this is not the right decision. I have always been skeptical of the people around fighters in such situations. Oliveira is one of the best lightweight fighters in history. I don't want something crazy to happen to him like last time."
It should be noted that Rafael Fiziev had his last fight within the framework of the UFC tournament held in Baku on June 21 and won by unanimous decision over Chilean Ignacio Bahamondes.
