Japanese boxer Hiromasa Urakawa died at the age of 28 from injuries sustained in the ring.
APA reports that the World Boxing Organization's press service released information about this.
Urakawa died in Tokyo after a fight with his compatriot Yoji Saito. Saito won by technical knockout in the eighth round.
Earlier, information was spread about the death of another Japanese boxer who participated in this tournament - 28-year-old Shigetsi Kotari.
He underwent emergency surgery due to a subdural hematoma, but later died from his injuries.
Urakawa won 10 times, 7 of them by knockout, and lost 4 times.
