The "Great Silk Road" international boxing tournament among men and women boxers concludes today in Baku.
QOL.az reports that 11 athletes of the Azerbaijani national team qualified for the finals in the competition.
Zeynab Rahimova (52 kg), Aynur Rzayeva (+81 kg), Subkhan Mammadov (48 kg), Nijat Huseynov (51 kg), Mahammadali Gasimzadeh (60 kg), Seyidjamshid Jafarov (75 kg), silver medalist of the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games Alfonso Dominguez (92 kg) and Nabi Iskandarov (67 kg) became champions of the tournament. Marjona Savriyeva (50 kg), Murad Allahverdiyev (80 kg) and Mahammad Abdullayev (+92 kg) won silver medals.
It should be noted that approximately 200 boxers from 9 countries participated in the tournament.
