"Neftchi" made mistakes and failed to capitalize on many opportunities in the match against "Sabah" (79:98) in the XVI round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League. According to Sport24.az, this was stated by head coach Vitali Stepanovski in a statement to the club's press service.
The expert complained about the disruption of stability in his team's game:
"After the previous match, we drew conclusions, and overall, our game plan worked well. We started the game very well, performed consistently in the first half, and played with good energy. In the second half, we made too many simple mistakes and failed to capitalize on many of our opportunities. Against a team of "Sabah's" level, you need to minimize mistakes as much as possible and be attentive for all 40 minutes."
