Azerbaijan's women's 3x3 basketball team will compete in the FIBA Champions Cup for the first time.
Idman.Biz reports that the team has qualified for the tournament, which is being held for the second time, as a finalist of the European Cup 2025.
In the competition, which will take place from March 13 to 15, the national team will face the teams of Spain, Canada, and Thailand in Group B.
It should be noted that the winner of the tournament will gain the right to participate in the FIBA 3x3 Champions Cup 2027, the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2027, and the Olympic Qualifying Tournament, which grants qualification for the 2028 Olympic Games.
